The Flip-Flop-Stop is designed for sailing and motor boats.
It is designed to prevent the boat from rolling at anchor. It’s finally comfortable and safe when moving around on board. The boat is still and calm and you are no longer afraid of swells and waves.
On sailing boats you simply hang the Flip-Flop-Stop on the swung out boom or on the spinnaker pole in the water. The ideal depth is 1 meters or 3 feet. Secure the boome or spinnaker pole with one line each to the front and to the back.
On motor boats, it is simply attached to the widest part of the boat, usually at the back of the stern cleat.
You need one Flip-Flop-Stop for boats up to 35 feet. From 35 feet and over, we recommend using two Flip-Flop-Stops.
